I needed emergency aortic anurism surgery
My life was saved by the wonderful surgical staff of the Edinburgh Royal infirmary. The follow up care by the nurses in ICU and HDU could not have been kinder and more helpful especially when it was discovered that my kidneys had ceased to function and dialisis was required.
I am now home and having dialysis at the Western General where the nursing staff are wonderful, always a smile and chat no matter how stressed they are. I have nothing but praise for all the NHS staff including the ambulance staff who take me to and from the hospital.
"I have nothing but praise for all the staff"
