Rang 85 times, finally got through, waited on hold 35minutes and then as I reached No 1 in the queue, the phone cut off. I rang later on and was told that this happens when its busy. No appointments available for 2 weeks and was advised to go to A&E which is not appropriate. No wonder NHS is in a state if A&E is the standard response !!

My Dad is 88 with Heart failure, and needed to be seen, and NoT by A&E. I despair.
