About: New Victoria Hospital / Out-of-hours GP service

(as a relative),

We were directed to the Victoria Hospital Out of Hours GP surgery by NHS 24 after my husband had a sudden onset of extreme stomach pain accompanied with a high fever.

We were called back by this surgery within minutes of the call with NHS 24 and arrived for our appointment after 9pm. We checked in and my husband was again assessed within minutes. It was all reassuring and speedier than expected.

The only exception to our experience was the receptionist who deemed it appropriate to be rude to my husband when he was clearly in pain.
