"So sweet and lovely throughout the delivery"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Delivery Suite Antrim Area Hospital / Ward C2 Maternity care

(as the patient),

I gave birth to my baby on the late May 2025 in Antrim Hospital, and I could not speak highly enough about the service I received. From the induction bay, to the delivery team and the CT unit, every staff member were incredible.

After my water broke, my labor escalated quickly and the ladies on shift that night Megan and the sister Emma, were amazing at supporting me and taking care of me until the delivery suite was ready.

Eleanor and Emma who delivered the baby, made sure I was comfortable and talked me through every step. As a first time mum, it is a very daunting experience but the ladies made sure I was well informed and were so sweet and lovely throughout the delivery.

I can not thank the team in all units enough for everything.

Dear RainMc25,

Congratulations on the birth of your first baby. I am delighted to read of the care that you received in all areas of our Maternity department. I am so pleased to read that you were cared for, supported and felt involved in every step of your care.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated and I will ensure that all teams receive your response, particularly those staff that you have mentioned.

Once again thankyou for taking the time to complete.

Wishing you all the best

Louisa Lapworth
