"Friendly, approachable and professional"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I recently visited VHK A&E after being involved in a car accident. Although the waiting room to be seen was very busy, reception staff were  attentive and helpful.

The consultant I saw was friendly, approachable and professional. She was thorough throughout, checking on my pain complaints and ensured I understood the information she gave to me.

I was given pain relief advice and told what to expect over the next few days as well as reassurance to return to A&E if my condition became worse.

I cannot thank the NHS staff who work tirelessly enough, for their efforts and their caring ways.
