"Non judgemental recovery support"

From arrival until departure I felt very well accommodated. Initially I was anxious, as to be expected, however the staff quickly made me feel comfortable and at home without equally overwhelming me. The other patients were also very hospitable and welcomed me into the centre. 

The food was more than adequate offering healthy and freshly prepared meals that were delicious whilst also catering to people with specific dietary requirements. I will add that I never found myself hungry with the snacks available ranging from fruit to chocolate biscuits.

Being that the matter of addiction is still unfortunately widely misunderstood and taboo in wider society there was never a time where a member of staff, or patient for that matter, made me feel uncomfortable or afraid to speak up.

The facilities were also better than I was expecting with having a decent sized bedroom with a private bathroom which was clean and tidy as well as having fresh towels whenever needed. The bonus of washing facilities made it easier as to bringing less items of clothing. Either way there was plenty of room to store clothing.

The added use of the garden and summerhouse made enjoying the outside possible which was very pleasurable.

The only suggestion I would add is the potential addition to exercise equipment as the long stay lead to a build up of energy and agitation at times.

However as a whole my experience has been nothing but positive!
