"The highest standard of patient care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Dept of Scheduled Admissions Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Gastroenterology (Stomach and Gut)

(as the patient),

I recently had a scheduled admission to DoSA at ARI for laparoscopic deroofing of a liver cyst and upper GI endoscopy under GA.

The admission team and nursing staff were very friendly and professional.

The anaesthetic team was so supportive and skilful, led by Dr Anderson. They made me feel at ease and barely felt anything.

The surgeons were excellent, Mr Ghazanfar and Mr Mekhail care, before and after surgery, was far and beyond the highest standard of patient care, a real credit to NHS Grampian.

I’m very grateful to the yellow surgery team for making my experience with surgery very positive.
