I am coming to the end of my 20 daily treatments in the radiotherapy department, and I can honestly say that, apart from the side effects, it has been a real pleasure. The department is well run, the atmosphere is calm, the timetable is adhered to, and the staff are uniformly friendly and helpful.  Thank you to everyone for your professional and caring support.

Dear Pjds1234, thank you for taking the time to feedback your experience of our Radiotherapy Department. My name is Bob, one of the Support Workers who welcome you to our department.

I am sorry that you have been affected by the side effects of your treatments. Hopefully our Therapeutic Radiographers and Specialist Oncology Nurses have been able to provide advice and support during these times. It is pleasing to hear that the department has a calming air about it and that things have worked to time for you. That is exactly the type of patient environment we wish to create.

Positive comments such as yours are certainly received well and I will pass on your kind words to the staff groups, thank you.

On behalf of everyone here, I hope you benefit from your treatments and wish you well for the future.
