"Care after a fall"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a relative),

My mother-in-law fell in the house and needed paramedics to come and take her to A&E at Victoria hospital. The service from paramedics was speedy and excellent. Then in A&E was treated so well by staff there and also by doctor from max fax who with the assistance of A&e nurse put in 48 stitches in total. Couldn’t have been treated better and with dignity for a lady in her 90s. We can’t thank you all enough

Thanks for taking the time to give such positive feedback, I will ensure it is passed on to the staff. I am glad we were able to treat your mum with the dignity she deserves.

Kind regards

Esther

Hi Skip57,

I see my colleagues from NHS Fife have already responded to your wider comments but I just wanted to thank you for your kind comments about the Scottish Ambulance Service. It's great to see that there was a speedy and excellent response.

I hope your mother-in-law is doing a bit better now and on the mend.

Thanks for taking the time to write in. It means a lot to our staff.

Mark
