"Made my son feel safe and cared for"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Day Procedure Unit The Ulster Hospital / Paediatric Day Patient Ward

(as a parent/guardian),

My son went for a day surgery at Ulster Hospital.

We were sent to Craig Ward.

Staff there were very friendly and made my son feel safe and cared for. During our time there as a parent, I felt that I was well informed and taken care of by all members of staff.

Huge thank you to: staff nurse Chloe, deputy sister Chloe, Student nurse Ellie, staff nurse Katrina and staff nurse Agnes in theatres.

Also to Dr Amel and Dr Mitchell, who kept us informed and updated during and after his procedure.

Muscayh53,

Thank you for taking the time to post your lovely review of our services. It is always nice for the staff to hear that the care they provide not only helps the patients themselves but also their relatives.

It is great to hear that you felt your son was in safe hands and that you were kept well informed during his time in our care.

I will pass your compliments on to the team and I hope your son is recovering well,

Cathy

Dear Muscayh53

Thank you for your your kind words and thoughtful feedback regarding your son's admission and surgery. We're truly pleased to hear that you felt well informed throughout the process and that our staff left such a positive impression on you.

We understand how important it is for families to feel supported and confident in the care their child is receiving, and it means a great deal to us to know that we met those expectations. I will be sure to pass on your praise to the team - your appreciation will mean a lot to them.

Wishing you and your son all the very best for the future.

Warm regards

Karen
