I’ve had the pleasure of being supported by Beth since my son’s 8-week check, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better Health Visitor. From that very first visit, she made me feel listened to, reassured, and respected, so much so that I asked if she’d be staying with us. I hoped she would, because she instantly felt like someone I could trust.
Since then, Beth has been a consistent source of support. Between visits, she’s always been quick to respond when I’ve texted with concerns, especially around my son’s skin issues and the healing of his BCG area. Her replies are prompt, kind, and full of reassurance, always reminding me that I can reach out at any time. That alone has given me so much peace of mind.
She’s also absolutely brilliant with my son. She chats to him, smiles at him, and takes the time to properly engage, not just ticking boxes, but treating him like the little person he is. He’s always calm and happy around her, and it’s clear he feels safe in her company. That kind of warmth is incredibly reassuring as a parent.
What really stands out about Beth is the time and care she gives. She never rushes a visit, always listens fully, and brings a calm, kind presence into the room. She treats you like a person, not just a name on a list and that means everything when you’re finding your way through the early months of motherhood.
Beth has been a steady, encouraging voice throughout, and her support has made a real difference to my confidence and wellbeing as a mum. I’m truly grateful to have had her walking alongside my son and me on this journey.
She’s an absolute credit to her profession the kind of health visitor every parent hopes for, but not everyone is lucky enough to have.
