"Amazing nurses and doctors on ward 5C"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Communicable Diseases (Ward 5c)

(as a relative),

My granny has now been on ward 5C for 8 days and now on end of life. I would like to just write a little review on our experience in ward 5C.

The nurses have been absolutely amazing with my granny but also with us her family, and to think how much grief they get especially from family members is beyond me.

I’m so grateful she’s getting looked after by the best! And wish them all well.

Dear Megjg36

Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt message during what we know is an incredibly difficult time for you and your family.

We are truly sorry to hear that your granny is now receiving end of life care, but we are deeply grateful for your kind words about the team on Ward 5C. It means so much to our staff to know that their care and compassion have brought comfort not only to your granny, but to your whole family during this emotional time.

We will ensure your message is passed on to the team on Ward 5C. Your recognition of their dedication, especially in such sensitive circumstances, will be appreciated more than words can express.

Our thoughts are with you and your family, and we wish you strength and peace in the days ahead.

Kind regards

Kevin
