(as a parent/guardian),

My 2 year old daughter attended for an MRI scan in Craigavon Area Hospital last week. Given her age it was necessary for her to have a general anaesthetic for the scan. All members of staff we encountered from the reception team, radiologists, nurses and anaesthetists were all very friendly, approachable and reassuring which really helped put a very anxious mummy at ease and made the whole experience that little bit easier for us all. Thank you!!

Thank you for this lovely feedback regarding your daughter's experience of having an MRI under anaesthetic in Craigavon Hospital. We know how frightening these things can be for children and their parents so I was very pleased to hear that you found the staff in the service reassuring and approachable. This can make an enormous difference to how children remember their experiences in hospital so it was great to read your feedback about how well it went.
