"Told to go "somewhere else""

About: The Marine & Oakridge Partnership

Contacted Marine Surgery 8.30 told to do e consult. Did e consult with picture of rash. Told to go to pharmacist at cm chemist. Pharmacist didn't know what the rash was. Went back into Marine Surgery where they told me to "go somewhere else" went to Boots and the pharmacist told me it was shingles. It's a bank holiday weekend, Surgery offered appointment in 2 weeks time. Pharmacist gave me Aciclovir which should be taken within 72 hours from onset of rash. Complications from shingles is a serious issue and

totally irresponsible of Marine Surgery to suggest that I wait 2 weeks ! Not professional and does not give confidence for future appointments.
