"Amazing nurses"

I recently attended the accident and emergency department after a back injury lifting my big dog. I was in agony and unable to walk. 

The nurses there were absolutely rushed off their feet. Barely time to catch their breath. Yet they still attended to the needs of patients with a smile and patience, taking the tome to make sure I was ok and comfortable.

On my first visit I would like to name Charlene and Donna who were so kind and I think there was a health care assistant called Mariah. Some of the other names I don't recall but each and every one of them were amazing.

On my second visit with my back injury, having felt worse, I attended the department again. Again amazing. Kindness and care I received was exceptional.

The ortho doctors were fantastic as were the A&E drs. There was a deputy sister whose name I didn't get, but she was so kind and compassionate. Also Bethany went above and beyond. Thank you to every single one of them.

The department was extremely busy yet they continue under immense pressure to deliver care with compassion and dedication.

I'm a nurse myself and have so much respect for the staff in a and e. They don't get it easy. But amazing.
