"Helped put my mind at ease"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

I recently had my first ever colonoscopy and was very nervous. The team at Hairmyers endoscopy unit were absolutely fabulous and helped put my mind at ease and really supported me. I was so impressed by how efficient and informative they were. The staff looking after me were all so kind and reassuring.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback regarding the care you received during your first colonoscopy. Staff will be pleased to read that you felt supported and that they were able to put your mind at ease.

Undergoing any procedure can be stressful and it is important for staff to reflect on how it feels as the patient. This then helps us and others going through a similar event. Your comments will be shared with the wider team.
