My friend and flatemate, also registered in this medical centre too, was asked by Job center to bring a letter from GP (that he is registered at his address). And they ask to pay 50 pounds for it and will make it in 30 working days! This is simply unimaginable impudence, and we, of course, will definitely change such a GP

Dear Igor K,

Thank you for your feedback.

We’re sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction regarding the charge and processing time for a GP letter. We understand how important timely documentation can be, especially in matters involving the Job Centre.

Please note that requests for non-NHS administrative letters, such as proof of registration for benefit purposes, are not covered under NHS services. Therefore, a fee may apply to cover the time and resources required for completion. The £50 charge reflects the administrative work involved, and the timeframe of up to 30 working days is our standard policy, though we do aim to complete such requests sooner when possible.

We appreciate your concern and understand your decision, but should you have any further questions or wish to discuss this matter in more detail, we would be happy to assist.
