Is it reasonable to have to wait for four weeks for a telephone appointment with my GP - that’s what I have been told. Being in constant and significant pain the drugs prescribed caused significant bad side effect's and I had to stop them. To consider better pain treatment I now have to wait four weeks just to talk to my GP “on the phone” about alternative pain control-
I’ve been waiting three months for a diagnosis as to the cause of the pains with various tests that are ongoing and may take several months to be concluded. In the interim I rely on my GP for advice, appropriate pain relief and information- but I’m not getting it and this is not patient care by any stretch of the imagination- The management of the Stennack Surgery should be ashamed to provided any patient with a four week waiting time for a simple phone call from a GP to a patient in significant pain -
