"Attentive, caring and professional"

About: Neurodiversity Services / Rotherham ADHD team

(as a service user),

My ADHD nurse, Debbie, is absolutely wonderful. She is attentive and caring whilst being professional throughout. I feel that she really listens to me and uses her vast knowledge and experience to guide me in decisions about my treatment whilst also including me in the decisions. She treats me as a person and not just a number and is responsive to my needs. I am very happy with the service I receive from her and think she is a great asset to the NHS.

Hi I am Jo the Manager for the team, firstly thank you for completing the care opinion form regarding your recent engagement with the team. Thank you for your positive feedback I will be sure to pass on your lovely comments to Debbie who I know will be happy to receive them. As a team we do our upmost to support our patients through their patient journey s we recognise that this can be at times quite emotive for patients. Especially when a diagnosis is given as this enables patients to make sense of symptoms that they have experienced for a long time. This is why it is so important to each practitioner to be supportive and empathic as well as listening and hearing to what our patients tell us. Good luck with the rest of your journey with the team
