"Radiology Results"

About: Woodend Hospital / Radiology

(as a service user),

I was thrilled to get an MRI appointment 2 weeks after a consultation with orthopaedic outpatients consultant.

That was in February.

It is now May, and I am still waiting for the results of the MRI scan.

I am in the dark about the cause of my chronic shoulder pain following a broken humerus.

Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased that we were able to offer you an appointment for a MRI scan promptly, following your consultation with the Orthopaedic Consultant. I am sorry you are still waiting to receive your results. I have checked and can confirm that we do not have any MRI scans waiting such a long time for results. Standard practice is to return your results to the clinician who referred you. In turn, they will then provide you with this information. I would like to help you with this but need some additional information. Please contact me on 01224 553994.
