"Recovery Process"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as the patient),

I was terribly sick, sore right shoulder, hand, leg and numbness was my experience for couple of days with my blood pressure reading 159/106 during multiple checks. I called 999 and they responded, came to my house within 1hr and brought me over to A&E at Crosshouse.

I was finally moved to Acute Stroke and  Nurse Joanne, Nurse Emma and other staff with doctors played a huge part in my recovery process. I was discharged after one week on admission.

I am well, my hand and leg pain is gone, I can walk and run without pain and strain again.

I appreciate the excellent service offered by care professionals at Crosshouse Hospital.

Dear Kelze44

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided within Ward 3E, University Hospital Crosshouse.

I sorry to hear that you required admission to hospital. I can only imagine how scary and anxious this must have been for you. However, it is reassuring to know that you received an excellent service during your admission and that you are now back home and can walk and run again without pain and strain.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients, and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team in the Ward. I know they will be delighted to receive this feedback and to know that you felt so well supported whilst you were with them.

Please accept my best wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind regards

Pamela
