"A very good experience all round"

I had to attend an appointment at Hairmyres Hospital, Dept of Medical Cardiology, to receive a scan on my heart.  

I was greeted as soon as I arrived by Paul, who was the cardiologist (forgive me if this is not Paul’s official job title). Paul was excellent, he had a very calming effect and talked me through the whole procedure, in a language that I could understand (no technobabble!). 

He was kind enough to fit me into his evening surgery , otherwise I would have waited till end July to be seen.  

The process can be a bit nerve wracking, but Paul’s calm and reassuring approach was very much appreciated, so great credit deserved for this.

A very good experience all round. Thanks again to Paul for putting me at ease and talking me through each step and explaining the scan results.
