About: Lauriston Building / Orthopaedic Trauma & orthopaedics / Orthopaedic National Treatment Centre Victoria Hospital / Pre-assessment

(as the patient),

I attended The National Treatment Centre at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy Fife for a left side hip Replacement, for my pre-op in February, and the operation took place in March.

Firstly.

The surgical team led by Mr Shenoy from start to finish were just top class, every aspect from my pre-op to my operation to the after care and then the final check up of my hip 8 weeks later.

The nursing staff in the ward were also first class.

Secondly.

The ward was exceptionally clean as you would expect. The food was brilliant.

All in all a 5 star service.

I wouldn't dream of going outside the NHS when you  get so well looked after.

Lastly I have to thank the consultant at Lauriston Hospital who diagnosed my problem.
