I have been bringing my transgender daughter to weekly sessions with Heather. She was feeling a bit lost in the system due to government changes around medication etc.
But Heather has been amazing! She has focused on building trust with my daughter (who also has Autism). The resources Heather has used in her work with my daughter are tremendous (I didn't even know this kind of voice and physical presentation work was even possible).
I have watched in amazement as the relationship with Heather has developed and am so grateful for the resourceful activities Heather has sought out. I can't praise the service enough, particularly because Heather has been working in collaboration with Michelle who also supports my daughter at the Udston clinic.
This kind of joined up working has given a feeling of being heard and valued and that is worth everything to a parent who was finding challenges at every turning point in her daughter's journey.
