"She was respected and cared for"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / General Medicine (Wards 3, 4, 5)

(as a relative),

I as the sister of a vulnerable person with cognitive issues have never in the last 10  years of her treatment  of her illness been as supported and listened to than whilst she was in care of this ward.

She was respected and cared for to the highest standards anyone could need for their loved one.

The ward manager Debbie and her staff listened to our concerns and kept us updated at all times .

Dear filingkh43

Thank you for your heartfelt feedback. We are truly grateful that you took the time to share your experience.

It means so much to hear that, after many years of navigating care for your sister, you felt genuinely supported and listened to while she was under the care of our ward. Ensuring that both patients and their families feel respected, informed, and involved is central to the care we aim to provide — and it’s reassuring to know that this was your experience.

We’re especially pleased to hear that Debbie and her team made such a positive difference. Your kind words will be shared with them, and I know they will be touched to hear how much their care and communication meant to you and your sister.

Thank you again, and we wish your sister continued strength in her recovery.

Kind regards

Kevin
