About: Outpatients Department / Clinic 3 - Fracture Clinic

(as a service user),

The wait times are ridiculous. We have to travel 2.5 hours to get here and even with an appointment we are already waiting one and a half hours. Your entire staff are scratching their heads in complete ignorance of the new computer system. 4/5/6 staff members huddled around a computer and noone actually working!!! Where has common sense gone? It's a ridiculous situation we have ti drive 2.5 hours here...and back and we are sat 1 and half hours after appointment time without being seen yet?

My name is Sandra and I am the manager of fracture Clinic Altnagelvin.I am so sorry that you have received a poor experience at your Clinic visit.I appreciate your patience in sitting 1.5 hours wait and hopefully you received a positive outcome when seen by clinician.Without knowing date and time I cannot look into whether other factors played a part in your delay in being seen.

To reassure you,staff are navigating the new patient record system and throughput should be much quicker as time progresses.

I hope that you received ongoing good care in light of any delays.Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of further assistance.
