"An absolute legend of a human being"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Endoscopy Pre Assessment

(as a service user),

Currently in the joyous (not!) position of having been red flag referred for a colonoscopy. Extremely(!) anxious about this procedure. Received a phone call from BJ who explained what I needed to do and what would happen on the day.

Whilst this hasn’t really helped with my anxiety regarding the procedure (that is entirely my own fault), BJ was an absolute legend of a human being. Explained everything really well with just the right amount of humour thrown in to what is, let’s face it, a pretty humourless process!

Was able to answer questions I had and done everything possible to reassure me. Whatever this woman is getting paid, it’s not enough!

charliesb74,

Thank you for this amazing feedback.

I passed it on to BJ who said to tell you this has boosted the whole teams morale!

I hope your procedure goes equally as well - We have a great team here in SEHSCT Endoscopy and I know they will look after you well.

Take care.
