"My life is getting better and better"

About: One Recovery Bucks / Aylesbury

(as a service user),

I was on Methadone but it didn't really help. Because I knew I would still use Heroin, I did. I switched to Buprenorphine, I was lucky, I went and stayed with a friend who doesn't use and she supported me while I detoxed to get on it. I then switched to Buvidal which has been life changing for me. I haven't used Heroin since starting Buvidal.

I've been so lucky, my keyworker has supported me so much, signposted me to the right services and generally been there for me. Learning to love without Heroin is hard, being present in life after so many years of being numb can be challenging but it's so worth it.

My life is getting better and better, I'm getting on with my family, re building relationships with my sibling, my parents and making new friends. I'm very grateful to everyone in the service, particularly Lewis.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, it is always appreciated by all at ORB. I will share your feedback to the ORB Team and Lewis

It is amazing to hear the positive impact Buvidal has had on your life and on your Heroin use. It is also great to hear, other key areas of your life are improving. Remember, this is down to your and your skills and determination. Congratulations to you and we wish you every continued success for your recovery!
