"It was first class"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

I had a great experience during my stay in their acute stroke unit. I spent over 1 week in the unit and all the medical staff and support staff were excellent professionals. Support staff could not do enough for me. As hospital units go it was first class. Kevin even gave me a haircut.

Dear hekawz83

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided within Ward 3E, University Hospital Crosshouse.

I sorry to hear that you required admission to hospital following a stroke. I can only imagine how scary and anxious this must have been for you. However, it is reassuring to know that you found the staff to be excellent professionals and that they could not do enough for you.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients, and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team in the Ward and with Kevin in particular. I know they will be delighted to receive this feedback and to know that you felt so well supported whilst you were with them.

Please accept my best wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
