"I can’t speak highly enough of the staff I saw"

Cannot fault the care I received in maternity services from start to finish.

Fantastic care from Ballymena Community midwives (in particular Denise Bryans, Valerie and Louise).

Also thank you to Brigid who completed a growth scan for us at very short notice and took the time to explain everything clearly.

The staff on EOU were wonderful on the several occasions we visited, in particular Lacie on the evening I was admitted. My concerns were listened to and not dismissed once.

Huge thank you to Dr O’Kane and Kayleigh the registrar for their care and expertise and explaining things so well.

Thank you to Caolan the anaesthetist during my caesarean who was calm and reassuring to both myself and my husband.

Thank you also to Megan Brennan the midwife who was present during delivery for the wonderful care given to myself, husband and our baby.

The care on C2 was second to none - all staff (midwives, HCAs and domestic staff) were kind, professional and went above and beyond. Midwives Leahona, Sarah Louise and Catherine looked after myself and my daughter on multiple occasions during our admission and the care provided was of the highest quality. I am truly grateful for the time and genuine care they provided. Also a special thanks to HCA Emma who went out of her way to support myself and my husband at a really difficult time.

Lastly, a big thank you to Zara from NICU for her outreach support - her expertise was invaluable and the outreach service allowed our daughter to stay with me on the ward instead of NICU.
