"Decisions where decisive and fully inclusive no messing about"

About: Victoria Hospital / Day Intervention Unit Victoria Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as the patient),

Had a feeling of some sort of obstruction/lump in my throat. Gp made appointment at Victoria Hospital , Kirkcaldy, ENT Dept. Was seen within 7 days. On initial hospital appointment a lump was discovered. At that point it felt like action stations. The initial response from the team who included Becki, Dr Yue, Dr Shrestha and Suzi was fantastic. Decisions where decisive and fully inclusive no messing about.

It has been three weeks now, In that time I have had an X-ray, CT scan, MRI scan, two biopsies one under general anesthetic. at this point I would also like to commend the team at V.E.A.S.L Day Intervention dept who where also extremely professional, inclusive and friendly.

I Have one more CT scan in three days then will be meeting with the treatment team at the Western Edinburgh soon to discuss treatment and way forward.
