"Exemplary care from staff all round"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma and Orthopaedics (14- 16)

(as a relative),

Visited my elderly father in law in ward 14, Wishaw hospital. The whole hospital was spotless. Ward 14 was spotless also and looked calm and organised.

There was a health care support worker (female, glasses, long dark ponytail) who was lovely and really helpful when we were trying to get an update. We asked for a discharge update from the named nurse (Jackie - charge nurse) and this was delivered with kindness, detail and with the patient involved. A urine sample was taken from the table immediately.

When we were leaving, I was waiting in the corridor for a toilet to be free by the cafe and a lady from domestic services asked if I was okay and if she could help - exemplary care from staff all round.
