"Midwife recognition"

My mental health would have been very different if it wasn't for this amazing woman. 

I had my first baby during covid and experienced postnatal anxiety afterwards.

During my recent pregnancy, I asked to see Anita after a couple of negative experiences at appointments (happy to discuss these) as the familiar feelings of anxiety began to appear. I felt scared and alone at the prospect of going through that again. 

Anita took the time with me and made sure I felt listened to, she talked me through all my pregnancy concerns and reassured me. She signposted me to others that could also help. Nothing was ever a bother for her. She was so professional and knowledgeable also.

Anita was fantastic after my baby was born too, helping with breastfeeding support and listening to any concerns I had. 

I cannot express in words how thankful I am for her. This lady is worth her weight in gold and is exceptional at what she does. 

I honestly believe my mental health would be struggling right now if it wasn't for Anita, she saved me from it. So from my whole family unit, Thank you so much. We will be forever thankful.
