"Colonoscopy"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I had a colonoscopy a couple of days ago with sedation, but the pain was horrendous, at no time did I feel relaxed or drowsy. I'm pretty sure the sedation did not work as after it I felt very lucid.

The doctor doing the procedure showed me the letter they were sending to my GP and they blamed me for not getting the last polyp out.

I feel very disappointed and let down and will never go for another one.

Hi Not Happy 13

I am so sorry to read that your experience attending Stobhill for your colonoscopy was not a positive one. All staff concerned will be upset that they were not able to help with your pain and discomfort during your procedure.

As I do not have your details I cannot investigate your case but have provided by email address below and if I can help in anyway please feel free to contact me.

Kind regards

Margaret
