About: The Ulster Hospital / Endoscopy Pre Assessment

(as a service user),

The call from the SEHSCT Colonoscopy Pre Assessment Telephone Service was really helpful for two reasons:

1. It gave me the opportunity to ask questions I had about the procedure. 

2. I came away with a much clearer idea of what to expect on the day. 

Both of these things reduced my anxiety. 

Nurse Olsen was very friendly and easy to talk to and I really appreciated her good luck message and gold star sticker included in the pack that was posted out to me. It reminded me of the stickers I used to get when visiting the dentist as a child! These personal touches are important and make people feel cared for.
