"A superb, efficient, caring service from start to finish"

(as a service user),

I crashed my bicycle on a remote road and although my helmet took the force I injured my face, shoulder, back and severed a tendon on my right index finger.  I received excellent treatment from Dunoon A&E, Royal Alexandra Hospital Paisley A&E and the orthopaedic and the surgeon and theatre team who repaired my finger.  Follow up care at Inverclyde Royal Hospital under orthopaedic surgeon Mr Chapel was superb and the follow up specialist hand physiotherapist was organised well in advance.  A superb, efficient, caring service from start to finish. The NHS at its very best. I plan to be back on my bike in a few weeks when I’ve fully regained the strength in my injured hand. Thank you.

Hi Tighnabruaich

Many thanks for the positive feedback for the care you received in our orthopaedic departments at RAH and VOL.

The staff of these areas will be delighted to know that their hard work has been recognised.

I hope you are healing well from your traumatic accident and get back onto your bike soon.

Best Wishes

Susan
