"Emergency admission for increased oxygen demand"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit

(as the patient),

A very smooth experience from initial registration at reception on the afternoon, through to prompt triage in the Emergency Department, subsequent treatment in the Medical Assessment Unit, and eventual discharge in the early evening of the following day.

All of the staff I encountered were unfailingly calm, courteous and polite, good-humoured and very, very professional. You are definitely operating a top-notch, Rolls Royce-type medical service at Barnstaple Hospital, for which you all get my very grateful thanks. The NHS and all of its brilliant people are this country's jewel in the crown, and we must do everything we can to preserve it.

Dear runninggj53,

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Is it so wonderful to hear of the positive experience you had in not only the Emergency Department but also on the Medical Assessment Unit as well.

I will ensure that the wider team in ED get to see your lovely feedback. I hope you are recovering well and thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback.

Kind regards
