Hi Kali777

Thank you for telling us of your experience as we always want to learn from patient feedback. As Lagan Valley Urgent Care Centre is a phone first appointment system patients should not have to wait for a long time to be seen if they have made an appointment prior to attending unless a very unwell patient arrives unplanned and a number of nursing and medical staff become involved in caring for them unexpectedly. On occasions patients can be given an earlier time to allow time for initial investigations at triage as the results can help make an informed decision on the plan following assessment.

I do hope by now you have been seen, helped by the staff and have a plan of care in place. If you have a long wait again, please do ask at reception the reason for your wait so you are aware of any unexpected delays.

Best wishes

Jenny
