"Very caring and the standard of care was excellent"

About: Glenrothes Hospital / Rehabilitation & Recovery

(as a relative),

Mum was in Glenrothes Hospital for about 5 weeks following a week in Victoria Hospital after a fall at home when she sustained a broken wrist. The staff in Glenrothes were very caring and the standard of care was excellent. It provided a safe environment for her to be cared for whilst we sorted out her next steps, which for her was moving to residential care. The hospital has a cottage hospital feel to it due to its size and location, which was also good from my Mum's point of view as it did not feel as clinical as the big general hospital. Lorraine and her staff were great keeping my brother and myself informed.
