I hav been visiting an in law who is receiving tratement for depressionand stress. This in itself is stressful but my own mental health has been impacted by the parking extortion that is orchestrated by NCP. There are signs all over the car parking about signing in within 30 minutes of arriving. Conscious of the awful reputation NCP have I have been very conciencous in ensuring that i always sign in. Despite this I have now received what purports to be a fine but is really an invoice for £100 or £60 if paid quickly. When I visited yesterday (14 May ) the signing in machine was completley broken and a member of staff told me that people have taken to photographing their confirmation of signing in as the equipment is unreliable. Insread of supporting an ill person I now dread the post in case arriving in case I receive another 'fine'
I must now decide whether to visit gain and dread the possible consequences or not visit with the potential effect this may bhave on their anxiety.
What a decision. This is not what the NHS should be about.
