I was diagnosed with bowel cancer a couple of weeks after breast cancer diagnosis. The communication between all the departments was extremely well coordinated in facilitating the treatment I needed. The surgeons and diagnostic team were professional yet empathetic. All aspects of my treatment plan were explained fully and all my questions answered and my fears allayed. I was so well looked after that never once was I fearful. The operation went very well but the after affect was a bit difficult and I must stress that the nursing care I received was amazing and everything that could possibly be done was done to affect a more speedy recovery which they accomplished with compassion and timeous humour. I made an excellent recovery which is down to their exceptional nursing skills both day and night. The facilities, cleanliness and comfort cannot be faulted. I would also add that the food was superb.
"Incredible care"
