"Baby massage"

About: Health Visitors / North Down & Ards Health Visitors

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was in ICU for two weeks when born, and we had frequent visits back to the hospital for the next 8 weeks. During a health visit from Sarah, I had mentioned my son had been constipated and she immediately referred me to Debbie for baby massage.

This was swiftly arranged and Debbie came out to my house over the course of four sessions. She was very kind, caring, gentle and immediately put me (my baby and 3 yo daughter) at ease. She showed me a wide variety of strokes, as well as providing some specific research about a particular need my son had with the tension in his hands.

She provided information that I could use on my older two children, always taking the time to show an interest in everything I discussed.

Overall, a wonderful experience that I feel very fortunate to have been provided. Thank you to both Sarah and Debbie.

I am delighted that you found the sessions useful and hope you will be able to use your new skills for a long time to come! being a parent isn't easy so we are glad to help in anyway we can.

I will make sure both Sarah and Debbie see your lovely comments.

kindest regards
