(as the patient),

I went in for cancer surgery for the second time at the hub.The first time I was worried and not sure what to expect, plus it was before all the Covid restrictions were lifted. 

Almost two years on and the staff went over and above to make you feel relaxed and comfortable!🥰

My allotted nurse went over and beyond . She made me feel at ease and more like a maiden aunt.

 My surgeon was excellent and informative and told me to get in touch if I had any worries at all! 

 Very well done to you all. A grateful patient.

Hi

Thank you so much for these comments – they assure myself as Matron that we are getting it right as we are working so hard to give patients the best possible journey they could expect.

I will share with the theatre team as well and, of course, the unit staff, as this is a huge morale boost for the staff to read how the patients feel after being with us. thank you so much and I hope you are recovering well
