"High standard of care and treatment"

About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Women's Services

(as the patient),

I needed to access sexual health/contraceptive services. My GP referred me and I was offered a cancellation appointment very quickly, in Elgin which was ideal as I was a few weeks postnatal and didn't have to travel to Aberdeen.

I was seen by Dr. Wallinger (hope I've spelled her name correctly!). She was warm and friendly from the outset, explained everything as we went along and put me at ease, and enquired generally about how I was which was appreciated. The care and treatment I received felt very thorough and I left feeling confident that everything possible had been done and checked, with clear guidance on what to do if I needed to access the service again. Thank you, I felt like this aspect of my health was addressed thoroughly and I could then get on with life with a newborn baby.

Dear TheCrs,

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience of our sexual health service. Our teams work hard to offer appointments as close to home as possible and I'm really pleased that you were able to be attend the Elgin clinic, particularly in your postnatal period.

I have shared your kind comments with Dr Wallage and she was delighted to know that you felt well cared for and confident in the checks & guidance given whilst attending her clinic.

I wish you all the best as your settle into life with your new baby.

Kindest regards,

Louise
