"Exceptional care after c section"

About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

We spent 2 nights in ward 3, DGH (after a c section in Aberdeen) for postnatal care. The care we received was perhaps the best that could be found anywhere in the NHS. We almost didn't go, thinking we could just go home after Aberdeen.  Mum, baby and even dad were supported completely, with opportunity to explore concerns and even anticipate issues that may arise. All staff were professional, approachable, supportive and knowledgeable. We had every confidence in the care received and recommend any family who could receive postnatal care in ward 3 to take the opportunity.

Hello TheCrs,

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such wonderful feedback for the postnatal care you received here on Ward 3 at Dr Gray's Hospital. It will be my pleasure to inform the staff here of your very kind words.

It is so lovely to hear that you would recommend this care to others that have delivered elsewhere, we as a unit love having the Mums and Babies (and partners) back for care and support before being discharged home.

I hope you are settling into family life with your new bundle of joy.

Kindest regards,

Charlotte
