"Made me feel at ease from the get go"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiology

(as a service user),

On arrival I was greeted by Paul  with a lovely smile and an outstanding mannerism, It actually made me feel at ease from the get go. Paul who did my echocardiogram talked me through every stage he was doing from start to finish which made me feel more at ease. His duty of care was exceptional. Thank you so much Paul for making a worrying time not so worrying for me.

Dear Mrs heart

Thank you for taking time to share how Paul put you at ease and made your visit to the cardiology department less worrying. Attending clinics for investigations can be very stressful and I am pleased to read that you received a high standard of service. Paul and the team work hard to ensure good communication and your comments will be widely shared.
