About: District Nursing / District Nursing - Larne

(as a service user),

I was seen by the Larne team following my discharge from hospital. I was sent home with a vac dressing and other complications.

Over the next 3 and a half months the entire team consistently delivered outstanding care and support. 

Their compassion , professionalism but also being a friendly face made such a difference to me during a very difficult time. 

Thank you for going above and beyond every step of the way.

I'm Marion Orr, District Nursing Coach in the Northern Trust. I work alongside all the District Nursing teams in the Trust, including the Larne DN teams. One of our main aims, is to ensure that people in our care receive a high quality, caring service.

Thank-you so much for taking the time to provide this feedback on the consistent and outstanding nursing care and support you received over a number of months and from everyone you met. This means a lot to the District Nurses, individual community staff nurses and senior nursing assistants in Larne.

This endorsement provides the Larne teams with a sense of pride and motivation as they continue to provide care to other patients and their families. It also shines a light on the importance of their expert, critical and compassionate care. Your story will also be read and noted by senior professionals and managers in the Trust and DOH.
