My dad has a pacemaker. He noticed he was getting an unusual sensation in his heart over the past week and became concerned enough to call the Cardiology department at the RAH recently over lunchtime.
Even though her shift had just ended Alison took the time to listen to my dad’s symptoms and said she would phone him again soon to offer an appointment. As per her word she spoke to my dad’s symptoms one morning and arranged to see him at the Rah that afternoon.
As my dad is 81 I attended the appointment with him. Alison was extremely kind in her care and her communication. She was thorough, she explained everything really well. She discussed options and was able to completely reassure us. She was completely professional and her communication is both was excellent so we’d like to pass on our thanks.
