"Not much mental health support"

About: Goldenhill Resource Centre Mental Health / Community Mental Health

(as a service user),

Last hospital stay I was told losing my meds because my doctors were not happy with my psychological team that put me on pregabalin.

I feel mental health system is broken, not much support in the community as there should be and I am scared to phone the crisis team incase they tell you to have a bath or go walk multiple times a day.

Dear AD1175

Thank you for sharing your experience and concerns. We understand that navigating the mental health system can be challenging, and it's important to feel supported during this time.

As Care Opinion is anonymous, I would advise you to contact Goldenhill Resource Centre, on 0141 941 4400 to discuss your concerns.

If you need urgent help, please call NHS 24 on 111 or if you just need to talk with someone, there is help available:

The Samaritans are there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can call them on 116 123 (freephone) or email: jo@samaritans.org

Breathing Space offers a confidential phone line for anyone in Scotland feeling low, anxious or depressed. You can call free on 0800 83 85 87.

Thank you

Nicole
