"I received the best possible treatment"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Respiratory medicine

(as a service user),

I was recently admitted to Culm East ward with severe vomiting and respiratory complaints.

I received the best possible treatment from the staff on that ward. The Consultant quickly diagnosed that I had LRTI and I was swiftly put on to antibiotics. The treatment and care that I then received could not have been better. The nursing staff were so reassuring and communicated with me at every stage. They were thoroughly professional and supportive in all that they did.

The ancillary staff were also warm and supportive. They kept me well supplied with food and drink. The staff at RD&E are wonderful!

The whole positive experience reaffirmed my view of RD&E as the best hospital in the world!
